Healthy Thanksgiving Recipes | Broccoli Cake Recipe for a Nutritious Dinner

Some of you vegetable lovers just plain out enjoy broccoli. Or the more common of you viewers may enjoy cake, or any cake for that matter. So here’s a great little broccoli cake recipe for you. It’s easy to make, quick, and best of all, it’s a healthy recipe for kids and vegetarians.
Broccoli Cake Recipe:

Total Time1 hour maximum
Servings1 cake
Ingredients:
  • (1) pound frozen broccoli florets, thawed and chopped
  • (1) bunch Eco-friendly onions, chopped
  • (1) cup shredded celery
  • (2) tbsps cilantro, carefully chopped
  • (1) tbsp dry dill weed, crumbled
  • (1/4) teaspoon pepper
  • (1/2) cup free of fat milk
  • (1/2) cup flour
  • Enough egg substitute to equal 2 1/2 eggs
  • (1 1/4) cup non-body fat sour cream
  • Directions:
    1. Inside a large mixing bowl place broccoli, onion, celery, cilantro, dill wee, tulsi and pepper.
    2. In a tiny bowl whisk together milk, flour and egg substitute until smooth. Pour mixture over veggies bowl
    3. Pre-heat oven to 300 levels. Place baking sheet within the oven to warm.
    4. Place a skillet over medium warmth. Put 1/4 cup of batter into skillet.
    5. Prepare about ten minutes per side. When brown switch and brown other part.
    6. Transfer cooked pancakes to baking sheet in oven to help keep warm. Serve warm having a dollop of sour cream on the top.
