Classic Pecan Pie Recipe

This is a great classic pecan pie recipe, simple and easy to make.  And perfect for that second pie at Thanksgiving!

Ingredients:


  • 3 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 Cup Dark Corn Syrup
  • 1/4 Cup Butter, melted
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1 Cup Pecans, coarsely chopped 
  • 1 unbaked pie shell, 9-inch

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Directions:

  1. Mix the eggs, corn syrup, butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Spread the pecans at the bottom of the pie shell.  Pour in the mixture.
  3. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, at 350 degrees F, until the filling is firm.  The pecans rise to the top to make a delicious crusty layer.
